Standard Classroom Technology in BCPS

Teachers must be logged into their BCPS Google account when accessing G Suite tools for use with students and for any BCPS related work.

**NOTE: Windows extended desktop mode does not support interactivity when using Interactive Projectors nor when using ActivInspire with ActivBoards. Interactivity in those situations will only work when the display mode is set to Duplicate (see Extend or Duplicate Your Desktop).
All BCPS classrooms should have a standard inventory of technology to use to facilitate instruction. Technology that should be available in each classroom includes:
Monitor, Keyboard, & Mouse
Projector or Projection System
•Tripod mount to attach to your computer.
•USB Cable used to connect to the laptop computer is 5 feet long.
•A light is enabled when camera is in use.
•Sliding shutter cover can be used to close the camera if video is not needed.
•Dual-microphones that pick-up room audio.
•Must be plugged into your laptop computer or a USB 3 port on the port replicator to provide a clear image
