Direct Linking
As of July 1, 2023, students have individual BrainPOP accounts. Teachers will need to assign BrainPOP videos to students rather than putting direct links in Schoology. Directions for assigning BrainPOP videos can be viewed here.

Citing BrainPOP
Citing BrainPOP movies: To reference an individual movie, or a factoid from the FYI section of that movie, you can use the MLA style for citing websites. The format is: “Movie Topic.” BrainPOP Date Viewed. < URL OF MOVIE >.
For example, to reference the Pirates movie after watching it on September 1, 2014, the reference would be:
“Pirates.” BrainPOP September 1, 2014. <http://www.brainpop.com/socialstudies/culture/pirates/>.
3. Knowledge Constructor- Students critically curate a variety of resources using digital tools to construct knowledge, produce creative artifacts and make meaningful learning experiences for themselves and others.
