GALE eBooks (formerly GALE Virtual Reference Library) combines the convenience of an online search engine with the accuracy and authority of well-known school library reference book publishers like Gale, UXL, and DK Eyewitness books. The "virtual shelf" is filled with full text eBooks covering a wide variety of topics and subjects ranging from environmental science and literary classics to professional education titles.  Patrons can enjoy 24/7 unlimited simultaneous access to eBooks in the collection from anywhere with an Internet connection. 

Target Audience:  Grades 6-12 and Professional educators *Eyewitness books in this collection may also be appropriate for upper elementary students.

Content Connections:  Arts, English/Language Arts, Digital Citizenship, Health, Information Literacy, Science, Social Studies, Education, Technology

Note: Titles shown in the webinar may vary from the eBooks in our customized BCPS collection.
