PebbleGo Next logo

PebbleGo Next is a supplementary product that provides intermediate students in Grades 3-5 with content for their learning needs. It engages upper elementary students with subject matter created for and correlated to state and national curriculum standards, providing learners with simple, consistent navigation. 

 Target Audience: Grades 3-5

Educator Resources

  • Educator Resources are available through a link at the bottom of each page on the site. Under the Resources menu, teachers will find a variety of resources including:

    • Lesson Plans and Activities

    • Content Maps

    • Correlations to Standards

ISTE Standards for Students

    • 3. Knowledge Constructor- Students critically curate a variety of resources using digital tools to construct knowledge, produce creative artifacts and make meaningful learning experiences for themselves and others.

Features & Learning Supports

  • Includes two databases:  American Indian History and States

  • Increases understanding, regardless of reading ability with scaffolding supports:

    • Authentic read-aloud audio

    • Academic vocabulary words with definitions

    • Images, video, and audio in each text article

  • Teacher Resources with national standards alignments, lesson plans and reproducibles.

  • Users can hover over a topic tile to hear it read aloud. 

  • Articles are chunked into easy-to-read short passages.  

  • Speaker Icon will play an audio recording of the article text.  

  • Large Photos/Images are included to visually support the text.  

  • Video snippets are provided to illustrate key concepts.   

  • Definitions can be accessed from the dictionary at the top of the article.  

  • Provides the citation for the article being accessed.

  • Terminology will provide students with information about terms used within the article.
