Kurzweil 3000 brings digital, text-based content and literacy tools to anyone who requires or desires assistance with literacy skills. Kurzweil 3000 provides a universal library and a variety of multisensory reading and literacy tools and options, including a translation feature! Websites can be read aloud in 12 different languages or users can translate text into more than 70 languages.

Access: All BCPS staff and students have Kurzweil Access access to two Kurzweil products to support student learning.
Kurzweil Read the Web is a Chrome extension that allows content in the Chrome browser to be read aloud. It also provides a dictionary, translation tool and a PDF reader. Kurzweil Read the Web is only available through the Chrome browser extension.
