Google Calendar is an online calendar tool included in Google Workspace that is available for all BCPS teachers and students. With Google Calendar, users can schedule meetings and events, as well as get reminders about upcoming activities.
Considerations for BCPS:
Google Calendar is available to BCPS teachers and students; however, it is important to note that Microsoft Outlook continues to be the calendaring tool to be used by all BCPS staff.
While Google Calendar has the functionality to schedule Google Meet sessions, BCPS continues to use Google Meet Nicknames as the approved method for scheduling live Google Meet session with students.
