Google Keep

 Teachers must be logged into their BCPS Google account when accessing Google Workspace tools for use with students and for any BCPS related work.  

Please reference Setting Up Users in Google Chrome for support in logging into your BCPS Google Account.

Overview

Google Keep allows you to capture ideas with your voice, add images to notes, check tasks off your to-do list, and much more.

With Google Keep, you can create, share, and collaborate with people on notes and lists. Keep synchronizes across all your devices, so your notes and lists go with you, wherever you are.

Getting Started with Google Keep

The Google Keep Help Center is full of user-friendly resource pages with step-by-step directions on getting started with Google Keep and other tools.  Some helpful Google Keep start-up resources include:

Ideas for Use

  • Create collaborative notes and tasks to manage group projects and provide ongoing feedback

  • Manage workload by planning out weekly goals and setting reminders

  • Use the drawing tool for annotating and labeling, as well as sketchnoting ideas

  • Add a Google Keep note directly to a Google Doc or click-and-drag from your Google Keep to a Google Doc or Slide

  • Record weekly learning goals

  • Streamline planning through the Google Keep and Google Calendar integration to communicate upcoming reminders
